Sneaker Freaker x G-Shock ‘Redback’ Launch Party Recap

G-Shock Australia sure know how to put on one hell of a party! To celebrate the launch of the new Sneaker Freaker x G-Shock DW-5700 ‘Redback’, the G team put on the Halloween party of the year in Sneaker Freaker’s hometown of Melbourne, Australia. As they say, the freaks come out at night, and there was no shortage of freaky costumes populating the dance floor as DJs Hans DC and Yo! Mafia took to the decks. Triple J Unearthed standouts Kaiit and MC Kwame whipped the crowd into a frenzy, while everyone downed icy cold beers from Budweiser — the perfect relief on what was an unusually hot October night. The evening was capped off by an epic set from hip hop royalty DJ Hurricane, who kept the party going until the wee hours of the morning. If G-Shock and Sneaker Freaker are going to continue putting on such epic launch parties, then we can’t wait for their next colab!
